Located in the heart of the Appalachian’s, and spanning the St. John River, Perth-Andover has three major trail systems converging on this historic village with Maliseet, English, and Scottish heritage. Near the mouth of the Tobique River, Perth is on the east side of the river and Andover on the west, were amalgamated into a Village in 1966. Nestled between the rolling hills of the upper river valley, this scenic village is often referred to as the “Gateway to the Tobique”.

Discover the heritage by visiting the Southern Victoria Historical Museum located in an historic Methodist Church, dated 1837.   Browse through the artifacts; touch, see and smell the history of the village.  Stopover nearby Tobique First Nations and get a feel for the native culture and crafts.

International Appalachian Trail

Hike or cross-country ski the three trail systems. The International Appalachian Trail, the Trans Canada Trail and the Sentier NB Trail are waiting to be explored, providing you with scenic vistas and a return to nature.   Visit the river where you can experience top notch bass fishing, enjoy the water, or simply sit, relax, and enjoy the scenic view.  Bring the family and enjoy the many recreational opportunities offered:  tennis courts, outdoor public pool, splash pad water park, and baseball fields.

Enjoy Waterfront Park located on West Riverside Drive with BBQ pits, covered picnic area, gazebo, fountain, boat docks & landing. Parking room for RV’s.
